History

Investment and finance company Essedel Oy was incorporated in 1995. Investment control and management functions were transferred from the corporate holding of Exonic Oy to Essedel Oy to act as an independent structure in 1997.

In year 2000 Essedel Oy was acquired by the holding company - International Venture Capital IVC Oy. International Venture Capital - IVC Oy holds 95% of Essedel Oy shares.

Starting from the 1997 to the present day we actively work in the field of private equity investments, finance and strategic consultation in projects located in Russia and Finland.

The compounded sales of Essedel Oy within the period comprised are more than 102 (MEUR) million EUR on the international and Russian projects.

Economic and political risks of the Russian market did not give to us the possibility to be feel relaxed, and only strengthened internal discipline and daily progress in our portfolio companies, without forgetting the market history.
